Mrs. Roger Barrett

Mrs. Lillie May Barrett, 81, of Bentonsport, wife of Roger Barrett, died in her sleep Thursday morning, Sept. 26, at her home in Bentonsport, Iowa.

The daughter of James and Lillie McCarty McGowan, she was born Dec. 4, 1886, at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Her marriage took place April 8, 1944, in Chicago. She moved to Bentonsport in 1946. She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star at Chicago.

The services were held Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 P.M. at the Catcott Funeral Home at Keosauqua with Rev Bass officiating. Eastern Star services were held. Burial was at Vernon Cemetery.
