Donald J. Warner

Eddyville. - Donald Junior Warner, 46, died of cancer at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines at 1 A.M. Tuesday, Sept. 24.

He was born May 23, 1922, at Stockport, the son of Mr. and Mrs. D.G. Warner, Sr. He was married Dec. 23, 1944 to Lucretha Bitner. They moved to Des Moines last fall.

Survivors include his parents; his widow, six children, Sheryl, Asa, Dena, Lyla, Aaron and Aric Doyle, all at home; one sister, Catherine Batey of Cedar Rapids.

He had served in the Navy three years and before becoming ill was a crane operator.

Funeral services were held at noon Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial was in Resurrection City in Des Moines.
