MRS. LUNDIE L. DOUTHART

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, at the Keosauqua Methodist church for Mrs. Lundie L. Douthart, 19, of Keosauqua, who died after a year's illness Sunday, Oct. 6 at University Hospitals at Iowa City. Rev. Dale Bass, pastor officiated. Burial was in Fellows Cemetery. The Pedrick Funeral Home of Douds was in charge.

Mrs. Douthart was the daughter of Howard and LaVerne Haas Carruthers, born Aug. 15, 1949 at Ottumwa. She was reared in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carruthers at Keosauqua and attended the Keosauqua school. She graduated in 1967 from the Fairfield high school.

Sept. 30, 1967, she was married to Kenneth Douthart of Bonaparte in the Keosauqua Methodist church. Her husband is now serving with the U.S. Army in Panama.

Mrs. Douthart had been an employee of the Ordnance Plant at Burlington.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Carruthers of Davenport, her mother, LaVerne Carruthers of Keokuk, a brother, Fred, one step-brother, two step-sisters, and grandmothers, Mrs. Ina Carruthers of Keosauqua and Mrs. Mary Haas of Keokuk.
