MRS. HUGH BLACKBURN

Services for 65-year-old Mrs. Hugh Blackburn were held Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. at Center Chapel Methodist church.

Mrs. Blackburn was fatally stricken while talking on the telephone Thursday morning.

The Rev. Aldreth V. Weigel officiated at the service, and burial was in Center Chapel cemetery.

The former Leona Linn, Mrs. Blackburn was the daughter of George and Mary Alma Linn, and was born Feb. 25, 1902, at Cantril. She was married to Mr. Blackburn at Mt. Sterling in March of 1920.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Robert Blackburn of Keosauqua; three brothers, Harley Linn of Glen Cove, N.Y., Ward Linn of Fairmont, Minn. and Clarence Linn of Keosauqua; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Burgess of Keokuk; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. An infant daughter, a son, Kenneth Blackburn, and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Gilchrist, died previously.
