JOHN C. ROBINSON

Word was received last week of the death of John C. Robinson, a former Selma resident. he was born in 1872 and departed from this life July 8, 1966. Funeral services were held at the Nelson Funeral Home at Cedar Falls on July 11 with Dr. Harvey Nelson in charge. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.

He leaves his wife (the former Daisy Stump) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Anderson and Mrs. Ruth Kuczor, both of Cedar Falls; a son, Joe, Omaha, Nebraska. Also three grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Robinson reared their family in Selma and all three children graduated from Selma Consolidated School. Mr. Robinson succeeded Mark Harlan as depot agent and continued as agent until the depot closed, approximately 18 years.
