ESMOND DALE CAHILL

The funeral service for a former Farmington resident, Esmond Dale Cahill, 52, of Springfield, Ohio, was held June 30 at 10 a.m. from the Conway Funeral Home in Springfield with burial in that city.

Mr. Cahill died suddenly June 27 at 9 p.m. in Springfield.

He was born May 6, 1914 in Farmington, the son of Arthur and Myrtle Dale Thompson Cahill.

A 1932 graduate of the Farmington High School, he moved to Chicago in 1935 and later to Springield where he was a real estate appraiser.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen and seven children, Michael, Matthew, Steven, Gregory, Maureen, Julie and Maryclair, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Evelyn) Cook, Mrs. Ralph (Marguerite) Cook, both of Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Laurence (Helen) Martin of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and one brother, Harry Cahill of Waterford, Wisc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
