Irvin M. Hartwig, 73, died at Davenport Thursday, May 5 at 5 p.m.

Born May 30, 1892, at What Cheer, he was a farmer most of his life. For 10 years he had been employed at International Harvester Implement Co. at Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel, in 1943.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. LaVera Plunkett of Davenport and Mrs. Barner Broker of Hampshire, Ill.; and two brothers, Charles of Selma and Harley of Eldon.

Services were held at the Wellborn Funeral Home in Milton on Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Herbert Phillips officiated. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.
