SOMMERVILLE-February 1, 1882 at Keosauqua, Iowa, John V. Sommerville, aged 35 years, 7 months, 13 days.

The deceased was born in Brooklyn, state of New York, on the 18th day of June, 1846, came to the state of Iowa with his parents, Geo. W. and Ann Sommerville on December 24, 1856; settled in Keosauqua in the year 1864; was married to Miss Jennie King, daughter of Russo and Margaret King, of Keosauqua, on the 25th day of November, 1873, and has resided in Keosauqua up to the time of his death. He leaves a wife and two bright little boys, Glenn and Everett, to mourn the loss of a husband and father.
