JOE M. BARKER

Joe M. Barker, 84, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. at his home.

He was born July 20, 1881, near Mt. Zion, the so of James and Jane Agnew Barker. Feb. 4, 1903, he married Iva B. Keck near Utica. He was a member of the Keosauqua Methodist church. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; three granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 11 at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua Methodist church. Rev. Aldreth v. Weigel will officiate. Burial in Oak Grove cemetery.
