Clarence Standley

Clarence (Kissie) Standley, 44, of Sumpter, S.C., formerly of Hillsboro, died Sunday, March 20, at 3:30 p.m. in South Carolina.

He was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Ft. Madison, the son of Hollis and Goldie Standley. He married Mary Lou Nye. Mr. Standley was a retired 10-year veteran of the Air Force. He served in World War II and was presently employed at Shaw Air Force Base, Sumpter.

Surviving are two sons, Randy of Sumpter and Donald (Butch) of Mt. Pleasant; his mother of Mt. Pleasant; his father of Sacramento, Calif.; and four brothers, Dale of LaSall, Utah, Clyde of Miami, Fla., Donald of Garner and Dean of Keokuk.
