ALLAN HUMBLE
Service for 33-year-old Allan Humble of Cantril, who was killed Friday, April 1 in a farm accident, were held Monday afternoon, April 4 at the Cantril Methodist church. The Rev. Herbert Phillips officiated. Burial was in Memorial cemetery, Ottumwa.
Allan Keith Humble was born in Ottumwa July 30, 1932, the son of Clyde and Warda Morrow Humble. He was married to BuiNita Gay at Kirksville, Mo., on July 21, 1955.
He had graduated from the Cantril high school, where he was a basketball star, in 1950.
Mr. Humble was a member of the Cantril Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife; a 10-year-old son, Daniel; two brothers, S/Sgt. Arthur Humble of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jerry Humble of San Diego, Calif.; his father, a resident of Keosauqua; his mother, a resident of Anchorage; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elsie Fogelsong of Arbela, Mo.; a foster-sister, Alice Ponce, Burlington.
