OBITUARIES

THOMAS IRVING WILLIAMS

Thomas Irving Williams, 87, of Birmingham, died Saturday Mar. 16(19), 1966 in Van Buren Memorial hospital.

He was born near Birmingham on Nov. 25, 1878, the son of Thomas Lewis and Mary Hootman Williams. On January 8, 1903, he married Blanche Gall. He was a member of Birmingham Methodist church.

Surviving are three sons, Lester and Arthur of Birmingham and Robert of Keosauqua; six daughters, Mmes. Lucille Doughty of Agency, Marjory Gould of Richland, Faye Dooley of Armarillo, Tex., Beryl Kerr of Douds, Beulah Phillips of Keosauqua and Marie Kurka of Eldon; 29 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Buckmaster, Commerce City, Colo.; and a brother, Floyd of Birmingham.

Services were held Tuesday, March 22, 1966 at 2:30 p.m. at the Birmingham Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ora Reep in charge. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Burch Funeral Home, Birmingham, was in charge of arrangements.
