MARY E. KLISE

Mary E. Klise, 86, daughter of William and Caroline Starr Ogren, died Sunday morning, Jan. 23, of a heart attack. She was born June 14, 18979 in Rariton, Ill. She was married in 1907, at Keokuk, Ia., to Worthy Klise, who passed away in the spring of 1946.

They lived in Stockport and Hillsboro vicinities until the death of Mr. Klise when she and the son, Otto, moved to Ottumwa, to be near a daughter, Mrs. Eva Davis.

She is survived by her son and daughter; two grandchildren and two brothers, Chas. Ogren of California and Otto Ogren of Des Moines.

Preceding her in death was a son, John, who passed away while they were living south of Hillsboro; her husband, three brothers and a sister, Mrs. Earl Nelson.

Mrs. Klise belonged to the Lutheran Church in Rariton, Ill.

Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the Jay Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Lansman of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Dibble cemetery, south of Stockport.
