Mrs. James Bagby

Mrs. Mary M. Bagby, 91, died Tuesday, March 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the Hadley Rest Home in Richland. She had been a resident there 18 months.

The family home since 1910 was 10 miles southeast of Fairfield.

Born March 26, 1874, at Cantril, she was the daughter of John and Caroline Pundt Warning. She was married Dec. 1892, at Cantril to James Owen Bagby, who died Dec. 2, 1914.

Surviviors include six sons, Harry of Brighton, Verne of Stockport, Thomas and Frank of Fairfield, Lawrence of Birmingham and Chester of Stockport; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Keller of Fairfield; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, a grandchild, great-grandchild and two brothers.

The service was held Thursday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Chester Werft of Stockport officiating.
