MRS. CARL JEFFERS

Mrs. Hazel Mae Jeffers, 62, of rural Argyle, died Saturday at 3:30 a.m. at her home.

She was born July 2, 1903, in Keokuk, the daughter of Henry L. and Jesse Clair Meyer. On Dec. 24, 1921, she married Carl Jeffers in Keokuk. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, Argyle, and the Willing Workers of the church.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Merlyn Pete Jeffers of Farmington; two daughters, Mrs. William J. Auwaerter of Montrose and Mrs. Donald Fogle of Burlington; and nine grandchildren.

Services were held Monday at 2 p.m., at Miller Home for Funerals, Donnellson in charge of Rev. Charles Carter. Burial was in Oakland cemetery, Vicinnes.
