EMMET C. GOODY

Emmet C. Goody, 81, Modesto, Calif., died Feb. 11 in California. He was a former Lee county resident. He was born Jan. 21, 1885, in Pleasant Ridge township, son of Joseph and Charlotte Goody. He married Opal Northup of Niota, Ill. He had been a resident of California 45 years.

Surviving are the wife, three daughters, Mrs. Art Nelson, Redding, Calif.; Mrs. Sam Houston, Modesto, Calif., and Mrs. Earl DeSeelhorst, Modesto, Calif.; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Gorssman of Farmington and Mrs. Etta Wilson of Fontana, Calif.

Funeral services were in California.
