ROBERTA DOROTHY

KEOSAUQUA - Roberta Nelson Dorothy, 57, formerly of Keosauqua, died at 3 a.m. Aug. 21 in a Carson City, Nev., hospital.

She was born March 21, 1920, to John and Grace Nelson at Mount Zion. She graduated from Keosauqua High School and worked for several years as a legal secretary and for the Selective Service office in Keosauqua.

Surviving are her husband, Robert, of Carson City; daughter Robin of Eugene, Ore.; brothers Conley and Merle Nelson, both of rural Keosauqua, and Paul Nelson of Saudi Arabia; and sister Jean Miller of Jefferson.

Services: Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., at Walton Funeral Chapel in Carson City. The body will be cremated.

Memorial: to American Cancer Society.
