WELTHA ELSENSOHN

DOUDS - Weltha J. Elsensohn, 87, died early today at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Sept. 18.

She was born to Samuel and Jane Shaffer Roush on Aug. 31, 1890, in Douds. She married Edwin Elsensohn in 1908 at Douds. They farmed and lived their married life there. He died in 1955.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Pythian Sisters Lodge of Douds.

Survivors: daughters Mrs. Erma Stearns of Chandler, Ariz., Mrs. Frances Spees of Clarksville, Tenn. and Mrs. Madelyn Carr of Douds; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mae Miller of Fairfield; and a brother, Ray Roush of Keosauqua.

Services: pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.
