Services for Kenneth Countryman, 74, 410 E. Washington, who died Tuesday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.
The Rev. Harold Harryman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Countryman was born July 29, 1913, in Jefferson County, the son of John and Rhoda Gableman Countryman. He lived most of his life in the Douds area where he farmed until his retirement and moved to Fairfield in 1981.
He was married to Dorothy Morris Cohenour June 4, 1949, in Burlington.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Janet Breeding of Choctaw, Okla., and Nellie Fisher of Bettendorf; one stepdaughter, Nancy King of Rantoul, Ill.; one stepson, Larry Cohenour of Davenport; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; two sisters, Irma Bachman of Bloomfield and Gratia Hoffman of Denver, Colo.; and one brother, Winton Countryman of Fairfield.
The family will receive friends at the Pedrick Funeral Home between 7 and 8 p.m. today.
Memorials to the Heart Fund may be left at the funeral home.
