JENNIE LANE

STOCKPORT - Mrs. Jennie M. Lane, 78, of Stockport died Friday morning at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.

She was born Sept. 7, 1898, at Utica to William and Caroline Rehkoph Trumbo and was a member of Stockport United Methodist Church.

She married George Dewey Lane Aug. 8, 1921, at Ft. Collins, Colo. He died Feb. 21, 1974.

Survivors include two sons, Stan and Beryl, both of Stockport; six grandchildren; a brother, Pres Trumbo of Des Moines; and four sisters, Gertrude Trumbo of Bloomfield, Willa Trumbo of Des Moines, Maude Trumbo of San Francisco, Calif., and Elizabeth Sirdoreus of Fairfield.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Stockport United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Kennedy officiating.

Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham. Memorials to Stockport United Methodist Church may be left at the funeral home.
