KENNETH BREWER

FAIRFIELD - Kenneth W. Brewer, 53, of Fairfield, died Tuesday about 2:30 p.m. at Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health several years.

He was born May 4, 1924, at Milton, to Ray and Edna Armstrong Brewer. A World War II Navy veteran, he was employed by the Crane and Monorail Company here for more than 27 years.

He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagle Lodge.

On Sept. 20, 1947, he married Louise Conover at Kahoka, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Sandra Orr, and one son, Jerry Hendricks, both of Washington, Iowa; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Ford of Mount Pleasant.

The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. D.O. Van Dyne officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A memorial has been established payable to Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield.
