O.C. (MAJOR) ROBERTSON

CANTRIL - O.C. (Major) Robertson, 80, formerly of Cantril, died Wednesday at the Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Branson, Mo.

He was born Jan. 21, 1897, in Scotland Co., Mo., to Charles and Almeda Watson Robertson. On Sept. 27, 1919, he married Ruth Hollembeck.

He was a farmer. A World War I veteran, he was a charter member of the American Legion in Cantril, and was a member of the Cantril Christian Church.

Surviving are his widow; three sons, George A. ad Gene, both of Streator, Ill., and Paul of Ava, Mo.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray of California and Wallace of Cantril; and five sisters, Edith Hull of Colorado Springs, Colo., Arta Peel and Georgia Owens, both of Cantril, Cleda Perkovich of Boone and Helen Walton of Bloomfield.

The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cantril Christian Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

The body is at Wellborn Funeral Home in Milton.
