OTTO THOMAS

DOUDS - Otto Thomas, 64, of Douds, died today at 12:05 a.m. at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born April 6, 1913, in Graves County, Ky., to Joe and Annie Kennedy Thomas. He was employed as a blaster at Douds Stone, Inc., until his retirement in 1976.

On Sept. 22, 1935, he married Irene Thomas of Fulton, Ky. They lived in Kentucky until moving to southeast Missouri in 1954. They later lived four years in California and the past nine years in Douds.

Surviving are his widow; four sons, Billy Joe of Harford, Ill., Gerald Bee of East Prairie, Mo. and Marion Lee and Anthony Wayne, both of Fairfield; four daughters, Virginia Hedgecoth and Yvonne Solorio, both of California, and Charlotte and Christine, both at home; one sister, Jewel White of Akron, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren.

The service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Charles Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial fund contributions may be left at the funeral home.
