NELTON McCARTY

SELMA - The service for Nelton L. McCarty, 65, of Selma, who died Wednesday in Fairfield, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. The Revs. L.C. and Helen Brown will officiate, and burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds.

Mr. McCarty was born May 29, 1911, in Williamstown, Mo., to James and Belle Allen McCarty. He was reared in Missouri and lived a number of years in Santa Ana, Calif., where he was employed at Orange County Hospital. He retired in 1973 and moved to Selma to live with a brother, E.I. McCarty, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Suzanne Greeson of Libertyville; two granddaughters; another brother, Earl of Memphis, Mo.; and one sister, Hallie Bates of Colorado Springs, Colo.

His wife, Esther, preceded him in death.
