AURA D. NIXON

STOCKPORT - Aura D. Nixon, 90, of Stockport, died today at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born Jan. 23, 1887, to Julius and Lena Beswick Nixon. He was a retired farmer.

The body is at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.

NIXON FUNERAL

STOCKPORT - The service for Aura D. Nixon, 90, who died Tuesday, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham. The Rev. David Kennedy will officiate, and burial will be in Spencer Cemetery at Stockport.

Mr. Nixon was born Jan. 23, 1887 near Utica to Mr. and Mrs. Julius Nixon. He was a retired farmer.

His wife, Bonnie McKee Nixon, died in 1965.

Survivors include one son, Webb of Stockport; three daughters Mrs. Emma J. Bradfield of Stockport, Mrs. Telma Edwards of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Beth Hudson of Rock Island, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Landess of Keosauqua; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
