June 23, 1978Death takes Mrs. Ingham
Vera Ingham, 85, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home in Selma, Calif., on June 22. Word was received Thursday by Christy Beauchamp of Libertyville, a nephew.
Funeral services will be at Page's Funeral Home in Selma at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Ingham was the last surviving daughter of George and Cora Brown Bray. She was born in Jefferson County on March 9, 1893. She married Homer Ingham in 1917 and he survives, together with four daughters, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The Inghams have visited in Fairfield many times since they moved to California in the 20's to make their home.
