HARLEY J. POLING

CANTRIL - Harley J. Poling, 77, died Monday at 8 p.m. while attending lambs in the barn at his farm southeast of Cantril.

He was born Nob. 29, 1899, near Mount Sterling to Marion and Luella Mankin Poling. He spent his life farming in the Mount Sterling and Cantril areas.

Surviving is one brother, Arthur of Keosauqua.

The funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Cantril United Methodist Church, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the charity of the donor's choice.

The body is at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
