HAROLD L. HASSLER

FARMINGTON - Harold L. Hassler, 64, of Farmington, died Monday at 10:30 p.m. at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City after a six-month illness.

He was born Sept. 14, 1912, at Farmington to Jay and Lillian Gray Hassler. A World War II Air Force veteran, he was a carpenter and plumber.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Gerald of Burlington; his mother of Farmington; and one sister, Mrs. D.J. Paisley of Inglewood, Calif.

The funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery.

The body is at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington.
