BENNETT FUNERAL

MOUNT STERLING - The service for John A. Bennett, 92, of rural Mount Sterling, who died Monday, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. The Rev. Herber DeMello will officiate, and burial will be in Harness Cemetery at Mount Sterling.

Mr. Bennett was born Dec. 7, 1884, in Scotland County, Mo., to John T. and Hannah Gorby Bennett.

A resident of the Mount Sterling community most of his life, he retired from farming in 1951. Since then he had lived with a nephew, Lloyd Bennett of rural Mount Sterling.
