JAMES MUNFORD

FARMINGTON - James Edward Munford, 57, of Farmington died Friday at 1:30 p.m. in his home after a heart attack.

He was born Dec. 16, 1918, at Argyle to Ernest and Sarah Jane Marshall Munford. He married Mickey Corns June 1, 1940 at Kahoka, Mo. He farmed near Farmington most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist church in Farmington.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Jeffrey E. of Farmington; one daughter, Mrs. John Lindberg of Hastings, Minn.; one brother, Victor Munford of Farmington; three sisters, Mrs. Forrest Rider of Farmington, Mrs. Dale Jannings of Creston and Mrs. Lewis Carter of Leroy, Minn.; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Farmington Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Worsham will officiate. Burial will be in Greenglade cemetery. The body is at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington where the family will receive friends from 7:30-9 p.m. today. Memorials to the church may be left at the Funeral Home.
