BUNKER SERVICE

STOCKPORT - The funeral for Dr. C.E. Bunker, 92, will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Stockport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Leo Bankson and the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in South Friends Cemetery at Salem.

Visitation will be tonight from 7:30 to 8:30 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. A memorial has been established payable to the Stockport Library.

Dr. Bunker died Monday at Ocean Ridge, Fla., after an illness of several months.

He was born Feb. 10, 1884, at Salem to William and Rosella Humbert Bunker.

He graduated from the Kansas City, Mo., Veterinary College and was an alumnus member of its veterinary association. He practiced in Stockport from 1914 to 1956 when he retired and moved to Florida.

He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church at Lake Worth, Fla., and the Masonic Lodge.

On June 17, 1914, he married Edith J. Packer. She died in 1946. He married Florence Magerkurth on April 1, 1949. She died in 1975.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl Moxley of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Leo Bankson of Mobridge, S.D.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Carl Anderson of Ocean Ridge, Fla.; one stepson, Raymond Magerkurth of Roanoke, Va.; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Albert Harshbarger of Salem.
