CECIL MILLER BARKER

KEOSAUQUA - Cecil Miller Barker, 75, of rural Keosauqua, died today at 7 a.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.

She had been in ill health for five years and entered the hospital early this morning.

The daughter of Craig and Bertha DeHart Miller, she was born March 22, 1901, near Mt. Zion and lived her entire life in the same community.

She graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1919. On Oct. 24, 1925, she married Kenneth Barker. He survives.

Also surviving are a son, Robert of Keosauqua; one graddaughter(sp), and one brother, Donald Miller of Keosauqua.

she was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church and Ladies Aid.

The service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Chapel Cemetery.

The Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund.
