Ottumwa, Iowa, Friday, April 16, 1976

EVERETT MOORE

FARMINGTON - Everett Moore, 81, of Farmington, died Thursday at 7:10 p.m. at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City.

He had been ill for several weeks.

He was born May 26, 1894 at Farmington to John F. and Ida M. Lear Moore. He married Virginia Dye on Dec. 24, 1917 at Daveport. She died earlier.

He spent most of his life at Farmington and was employed by the Farmington Lumber Company for many years.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Richardson Anthony American Legion Post, Royal Arch Masons of Iowa, and a 50-year member of Mount Moriah AF & AM No. 27. He was also a member Mizpah Chapter No. 24 OEF and a World War I Army Veteran.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington, the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion.
