RUBY E. KNECHT

DOUDS - The service for Ruby E. Knecht, 58, of rural Douds, who died Saturday, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Zion Bible Church east of Douds. The Rev. Walter Shuka will officiate, and burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established payable to the cancer fund.

Mrs. Knecht was born Nov. 27, 1917, near Douds to Irvin and Anna Manbeck Nedrow, and lived her life on the same farm. On Feb. 25, 1939, she married Kenneth Knecht. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dixie Gates of Douds, Mrs. Donna Taube of Jackson, Mich., and Mrs. Doris Kisling of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; and one brother, Lehr Nedrow of Douds.

She was an active member of Zion Bible Church, having served in numerous offices.
