DAIAY STRAIT

KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Daisy Strait, 81, died today at 5:05 a.m. at Van Buren County Hospital, where she and been since Feb. 24.

She was born March 24, 1894, in the Oak Grove community east of Douds to Joshua and Susan Sampson Reneker.

On March 22, 19223, she married Clarence Strait. They farmed in Van Buren County 40 years their present farm on Highway 1, north of Keosauqua.

Surviving are her widower; one son, Wayne of Keosauqua; three granddaughters; and three brothers, Glen Reneker of Fairfield, Paul Reneker of Birmingham and Joshua Reneker Jr. of Douds.

She was member of the Keosauqua United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the American Legion and World War I Veterans auxiliaries, and the Keosauqua Book Club.

The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery east of Douds.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established payable to her church.
