ROSALIE HAMBERG

CANTRIL - Rosalie Hamberg, 49, of Cantril died Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. She had been admitted for eye surgery, and death of multiple heart attacks was unexpected.

She was born Jan. 3, 1927, near Keosauqua to Floyd and Ethel Evans Wolfe.

A Cantril resident most of her life, she graduated from Cantril High School and the Burlington, Iowa, Beauty Academy.

Surviving are one daughter, Paula Jo Anne at home, and her father of Cantril.

She was a member of the Cantril United Methodist Church, where the funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Herbert DeMello will officiate, and burial will be in Maple Gove Cemetery.

The body is at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
