Evert R. Wilburn
SELMA Evert Ray Wilburn, 85, died Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. at Park View Care Center in Fairfield.
He was born Aug. 20, 1890, in Wapello County to George and Rachel Garrison Wilburn. He was a farmer in Wapello and Van Buren counties.
On Nov. 3, 1915, he married Julia Batterson at Keosauqua. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Keo Baker of Fairfield, Mrs. Helen Spees of Saint Ann, Mo., and Mrs. Opal Klicker of Milton; one son, Justin of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Hill of Golden, Colo.
The service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, with the Rev. Jack Weida officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
