JAY W. DOUD

Jay W. Doud, son of William and Ella Rodgers Doud, was born December 13, 1898, at Douds and was found dead in his apartment in Spokane, Washington, Wednesday, July 16, 1975. He was 76.

He had lived in the Pacific Northwest for a number of years and was a retired securities dealer. He previously had lived in Douds, Eldon, and Moberly, Missouri.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dona Caudle of Winterset and Mrs. Willie Lee Fairchild of Gresham, Oregon, a sister, Mrs. Effie Parsons of Hollywood, California, six grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. The body was cremated. The cremated remains were sent to Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, where Memorial Services were held Saturday, July 26, 1975, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Donald Stauch, United Methodist Pastor, officiating. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri, Monday, July 28.
