Mary Baird Pedrick was born in Van Buren County near Cantril, Ia. on February 21, 1901, died January 31, 1944, age 42 years. She attended Keosauqua schools, graduating with the high school class of 1919 and Iowa Success College, Ottumwa, Iowa. Before her marriage she taught school one year near Cantril and was employed for several years by the Ottumwa Telephone Co.

She married Paul Pedrick of Ottumwa, Ia. in 1927. To this union was born three children, Alan Dean of Ottumwa and Joan Dee and Joel Lee, twins of Galt, Mo. She is also survied by her mother Mrs. Ada Cox Baird of Liberty, Mo., six aunts and three uncles and a host of friends near Keosauqua and Cantril, Ia., also Galt, Mo. Her father died when she was small.
