Mrs. Eva DeFord Campbell, wife of Mr. Frank E. Campbell, died of consumption, Friday, February 14, 1896, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Deford, in Des Moines township.

Only two days previous to her death she became the mother of a little girl who still survives. For two years or more Mrs. Campbell had been in declining heatlh with the disease named. Some time ago her husband took her to Arizona, hoping the climate there would aid her recovery, but it seemed to do no good. She was then brought home to die.

She was a loving wife and mother, respected by al her acquaintances. Her husband, two children, parents and other relatives mourn the loss of one who will be great missed.
