MRS. SUSAN E. DIXON

Susan E. Gaston was born February 25, 1867. At the age of 18 she was converted and joined the M.E. church at Center Chapel. On October 5, 1887, she was married to Charles T. Dixon, and to them were born three children: Mabel B., Leslie G., and baby, nine days old when mamma went away to heaven, June 24, 1906.

She was fully resigned to go and talked of her exit as though she were going on some journey and expected to return soon. She had a view of the Glory world and told her friends of the sights she saw there.

She leaves to mourn their loss a husband, three children, a mother, brothers, sisters and a host of friends. A large company of people followed her to her last resting place.

Funeral services were held at Center Chapel, June 26, [1906] conducted by her pastor. Peace be to her precious memory. Rev. J.W. Carson
