MARGARET M. PERCIVAL

Margaret M. Percival was born to John W. and Martha L. Davies at Bagley, Wisconsin on February 2, 1903. She departed this life March 20, 1975, at the Sheridan County Hospital at the age of 72 years, one month and 18 days.

She was united in marriage to Dr. C.S. Percival on May 30, 1928, in Ottawa, Kansas. Born to this union was one daughter, Patti Jane (Mrs. Dean Bergman) of Valentine, Nebraska.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. C.S. Percival; her daughter, Patti Jane Bergman; her son-in-law, Dean Bergman; two grandchildren, Robert Dean and Suzanne Marie; three sisters, Beatrice Sayler, Albert, Kansas, Genevieve Mueller, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Eleanor Mae Smith, Birmingham, Alabama; three brothers, Jack Davies, Birmingham, Alabama, Vernon Davies, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Eugene Patrick Davies, Janesville, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Martha L. Davies.

Margaret was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, the Cultus Club, and was at the time of her death, serving as county chairman of the Kansas Crippled Childrens Society. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by her family.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 22, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church, Hoxie, with Rev. John Webster, Hoxie, and Rev. J.D. Root, Valentine, Nebraska, officiating. Pallbearers were: Arthur Sayler, Arthur Sayler III, Robert Mahanna, Sylvan Percival and Clarence Mowry. Music was furnished by Gertie Richardson, church organist and Bill Smith, who sang "In The Garden," and "He Holds My Hand."

Mickey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Hoxie Cemetery.
