RINABARGER, SPRINGER, NORTHINGTON

MRS. J.W. RINABARGER

Mrs. Ellenor Wright Springer Rinabarger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Springer, was born June 25, 1890, at Brownsville, Pennsylvania, and departed this life Sunday, April 13, 1975, at Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 84.

On January 1, 1927, she was married to Dr. J. Warren Rinabarger of Byron, Ohio. They resided in Keosauqua for most of their married life, where he was an osteopathic physician, and she was active in community affairs. Her husband preceded her in death in 1950.

Remaining to cherish her memory are a son, Robert Warren Rinabarger of Norwalk, California; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Northington of Dexter, Missouri; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, James Springer, Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania; Paul Springer, Brownsville, Pennsylvania; and Charles Springer, Boca Raton, Florida, other relatives and many friends.

Prior to her marriage she was employed in a bank in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Rinabarger was a member of the United Methodsit Church; Chapter I, P.E.O.; and a fifty year member and Past Matron of Lynds Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star at Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 17, 1975, at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Cornish, pastor, officiating. Pall bearers were Donald Dietzman, John Manning, Harvey Spurgeon, Dr. James Worrell, Willard Hoskin, and Willard Carruthers. Interment was in Center Chapel Cemetery, south of Keosauqua. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home.
