Mrs. Marie Louise Minne, 88, of Farmington, died Monday, April 7, in Sacred Heart Hospital here following a lengthy illness.
She was born November 6, 1886, in Wondelgem, Belgium, the daughter of Constantin and Constance Rogiest DeTaepe. On May 16, 1906, she married Adlophis Philippus Minne in Ghent, Belgium. She came to the U.S. in 1910. He preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, two sons in infancy, three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving: four daughters, Mrs. Forrest (Sally) Moreland, Farmington; Mrs. Corbette (Germaine) Kelley, E. Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Nels (Leora) Westergaard, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mrs. Fred (Rose Mary) Godin, Holly, Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services were 2 p.m. Thursday, at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington; Rev. Scott Holmes; Greenglade cemetery.
