HOWARD C. VARDAMAN

Howard Craig Vardaman, 35, collapsed and died at work at the John Deere plant in Dubuque, Monday, March 17. The family home is at 1384 Nottingham Ct., Dubuque.

The family had returned from a vacation trip Sunday and Mr. Vardaman was not known to have been ill; an autopsy to determine the cause of death will be performed.

A native of Keosauqua, he was the son of Ruth Vardaman of Wapello.

Also surviving: Wife Linda; son Stephen, at home, and brother Phillip Vardaman.

Funeral was at Westminster United Presbyterian Church of Dubuque at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Engelhof funeral home, Dubuque, was in charge of arrangements.
