KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Ada Warren, 80, died Saturday at Van Buren County Hospital, where she had been a week.
She was born Jan. 30, 1895, near Keosauqua to Charles and Sarah Zachau Witt, and was a lifetime resident of Van Buren County.
On Dec. 25, 1929, she married Edward Warren. They farmed near Mount Sterling and retired to Keosauqua about 20 years ago. He died in 1966.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Gerald Forbes of Keosauqua; and four brothers, Allen Witt of Burlington, Clarence Witt of Keosauqua, Charles Witt of Douds and George Witt of Mountain Home, Ark.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of the Center Chapel United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Center Chapel Church with the Rev. John Cornish officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery.
The body is at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. A memorial has been established payable to her church.
