JOHN FRANCIS RIDER

John Francis Rider, 52. died Saturday, February 1, at his home in Dallas City, Illinois.

He was born December 6, 1922, in Clark County, Missouri, the son of O.E. and Elizabeth Burke Rider. He married Ruby Marsh in 1945 and later married Fleta Riter on may 13, 1967 in Dallas City.

Surviving: The wife; father of Farmington, Iowa; stepmother; two sons, Vincent, Burlington, Iowa, and Timothy, Baring, Missouri; four brothers, Edward, Donnellson, Iowa, Robert and Thomas of Farmington, Iowa, Paul, Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Cecilia Astry, Deming, New Mexico; two step daughters; and five step-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Monday; Rev. Abbott Andrew Garver and Rev. John McCord; Carman, Illinois cemetery.
