Dr. Aura J. Miller, 84, Louisville, Kentucky, a Farmington native, died Thursday, February 6, of injuries suffered in a Wednesday auto accident in Kentucky.
He was born July 20, 1891, in Farmington, and lived for a number of years near Burlington. He received his medical degree at the University of Iowa and was later associated with Louisville Medical university. His later years were devoted to cancer research and he was active in this field at the time of his death.
Surviving: The wife, the former Mamie Turnipseed of Iowa City; one son, James, Danville, Ky.; one daughter, Madelyn, San Francisco, California; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 8, at Calvin Presbyterian church, Louisville.
