Jesse E. Seaman, 82 of Milton died May 17, 1990 at Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, Iowa. He was born Sept. 23, 1907 in Milton to Jack and Rose Grady Seaman.

He graduated from Milton High School in 1922 and from Drake University in Des Moines. He taught music and operated a piano and ballet studio in Chicago for several years and was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a sister, Teressa Orriny of Whittier, Calif.

The service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Priester Funeral Chapel in Milton, the Rev. Ellis Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation will be open after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Memorial may be made to Sunnyside Cemetery Ave. of Flags.
