Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Rosetta (Rose) Seaman, 80 who died July 11, 1956 at the Graybeal Nursing Home in Keosauqua, Iowa, were held Saturday, July 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellborn Funeral Home in Milton. Burial was in Sunnyside cemetery, Milton. The Rev. Harold Harryman officiated.

Mrs. Seaman was born January 2, 1876, the daughter of John and Sarah Grady. She had spent her life in the Milton community and was a member of the Methodist church. She was married in 1902 to J.J. (Jerimiah Jackson) Seaman, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Teressa (Robert) Orriny of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Audrey (Harry) Frantz of Alhambra, Calif. and a son, Jesse E. Seaman of Chicago.
